Beth Gonzales, RN. Beth is an on-call Geriatric Care Manager for PeopleWorks-NM. She is a licensed RN with 13 years of experience in ICU and hospice nursing. She currently serves as a private duty nurse. Beth recently obtained her Geriatric Care Management Certification. Beth loves working with older adults, and is very in tune with aging issues. She will be conducting presentations on Aging Gracefully at Meadowlark Senior Center. Her volunteer work includes activities with her church; additionally she is a peer counselor with Sandoval Senior Connection.
Melyssa Agee-Mares, MSW Candidate, 2010. Melyssa is interning with PeopleWorks-NM in her candidacy for her Master's of Social Work. Melyssa is no stranger to working with the elderly, as she has served as Director of Social Services at Rio Rancho Nursing Home, and is currently Program Manager for the Star-C Program with Department of Senior Affairs in Albuquerque. The Star-C program serves caregivers of older adults with dementia. Melyssa will be conducting groups at Meadowlark Senior Center, as well as seeing clients for psychotherapy.
