PeopleWorks – NM, a nonprofit organization, provides multiple services, including counseling and geriatric care management, to enhance general well-being. We are based in Rio Rancho, New Mexico, with a special emphasis on services geared toward older adults and the city's at-risk population.
Most of us have those moments in our lives when we feel like we cannot cope with the burden of our increasing problems, conflicts and health issues. It's natural to feel helpless or even want to give up. But all of us have the power to overcome these challenges and achieve a happier and more fulfilling life.

Struggling with low self-esteem

Did you know that more than 30% of New Mexicans live in poverty and that 26% of older adults have a significant mental disorder? As a nonprofit, we relay on grants, donations and fundraisers to help low-income older adults pay for the behavioral health care they desperately need.
